OROS is a multi-disciplinary project that was first born from the desire to transmit "know-how" from a father to his daughter.
Being self-taught with the help of numerous books and encounters, Roger has worked with wood since his adolescence; most times collecting wood in the surrounding forests, designing furniture for the family home, and spending his free time in the workshop. Laure, having grown up in this craftsmanship-rich environment, spent several years traveling around France for her studies in communication and design. Upon her return, she founded OROS in 2015 with the ambition of transcribing her father's passion.
Each object is the result of collaboration with small craftsmen and designers and made entirely in France; thus promoting local wood species, and safeguarding traditional techniques.
