Refund Policy

Returns and exchanges

We are a small online shop and gallery that represents the hand crafted work of independent artisans and designers from around the world. At this time all of our goods are either handmade or made to order, and they do not qualify for returns or refunds. We are happy to answer any questions about our products before you buy so you feel confident with your decision.

Please see our faulty goods section below if merchandise is received damaged.

Faulty goods

Items are considered faulty if they are received defective or damaged in shipment. Items received damaged must be reported to Storied Objects in an email ( within 48 hours of delivery. In the email, please attach photographs of the following:

1. Damaged item

2. Internal packaging

3. External packaging (all sides of the external shipping box)

Please note that because each piece is made by hand, one at a time, there will be natural variation in size, color and shape. Any natural variation in the product, damage acquired through use, or dissatisfaction with how the object patinas over time will not be viewed as a legitimate basis for return. 

You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be replaced and once the damaged item has been returned to us.

Receiving a refund

If the item cannot be replaced, your refund will be credited to the original payment method. Orders will be refunded full value of the order minus the shipping fee.

Please note that it can take up to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account once the returned item is received.


Shipping and Handling

Turnaround time

All orders are shipped via USPS within 7 days of receipt, except on national holidays, and packages are sent out each week on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

We are a one person team and will process your order as quickly as possible. On the rare occasion that items are oversold, we will contact you directly to see how you'd like to proceed with your order. 

International orders

At this time, we can only offer shipping to the United States and Canada. Please join our newsletter to stay up to date on updated policies. 

When ordering goods for international deliveries to Canada, you may be subject to import duties and/or taxes. Storied Objects is not responsible for any charges that are incurred from customs/duties whatsoever. 

Please contact your local customs office for more information on custom and excise policies in your country.

Shipping delays

Although we try our best to ensure packages are delivered in a timely manner, we have no control over how long it will take to arrive. Shipping times are likely to vary depending on the destination. 

If you are located in Canada, it is also possible that your package might be delayed in your country’s customs office.

By placing an order with us, you accept the risk that your package may be delayed during shipment for these reasons.
