Unlike most bi-folds made from rigid cowhide, ours is made entirely from Japanese goatskin, renowned for its thinner profile and more supple texture. With a leatherworking journey spanning over twenty years, Yone is world-renowned for his innovative, lifelike sculptures and fine craftsmanship. A firm believer that handmade is better, Yone spends countless hours of effort and thought executing flawless designs. Despite his individual acclaim, he attributes his success to the master artisans he has studied under. Now specializing in Japanese, American, and European leatherwork, Yone is a proud member of the Portland Leather Guild and Lone Star Leatherguild and lives with his family in Beaverton, Oregon.
