Specially handcrafted in Japan and designed in New York, Aquilaria is a fragrance of rare distinction, composed and conceived around one of the rarest olfactory materials: agarwood. While this revered wood anchors the scent with its resinous and smoky aroma, evocative of hay drying in the sun, the heart of encense à la aquilaria lies within the powdery warmth of sandalwood and the earthy sweetness of patchouli. A true sensorial journey through woods, warmth, and wilderness. 

Each box contains approximately 100 sticks (40g), each burning for about 30 minutes to release a slow, low-smoke, meditative fragrance.

A quiet ode to memories of potpourri and dried rose petals, co-founders and partners Karl Cyprien and Meg Cuna Cyprien are just as inspired by their roots as they are by the ancient craft traditions of Japan. Each element, from the way scents are developed to the objects that hold them, is carefully chosen to evoke a sense of timeless elegance; turning the act of scenting a space into moments of contemplation.

Through blending natural materials, ancestral techniques, and contemporary design, À LA offers a distinct perspective on olfactory exploration, beauty, and craft tradition.
