Founded by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll (of Oslo-based design studio Anderssen & Voll) in 2009, the goal was always to create objects where utility and sculpture were well balanced. Using timeless materials like brass, cast iron, wood, and glass, their handmade processes are combined with sustainable technologies, resulting in pieces that will remain relevant over time. Behind their intriguing Scandinavian designs, Nedre Foss closely collaborates with independent designers equally inspired by simplicity and sustainability.
