Organic and free-form in nature, his work embodies the pursuit of elevating humble objects through materiality. Through the use of raw, natural materials, his work will continue to darken and patina with use over time. It is all too common for artists to over-engineer for the sake of display and personal expression, but its this restraint and kind of quiet beauty that I find most alluring.
