In our opinion, this is a perfectly simple serving bowl. Deep, wide, and gently curved, it is beautiful at the center of a table or on a counter overflowing with fruit. The clear glazed interior creates a neutral backdrop for serving virtually any food, while the unglazed satin-porcelain exterior offers a beautifully tactile experience when transporting between rooms or from hand to hand.

Translucent, fluid, and unembellished, Lilith Rockett's work embodies the quiet, simple beauty that exists in daily life.

On display in her Portland-based gallery, her wide range of everyday objects is sporadically and thoughtfully grouped together. Seemingly wishing to bring out the human characteristics in all of her designs, Lilith commonly leaves the exteriors of her work unglazed, creating objects that grow and change with you over time.

Though each piece exhibits subtle variations in form and purpose, they all reflect a sought-after simplicity that is rarely obtained. It is through this intimate and pared-back approach that Lilith's work continues to transcend cultural preferences and temporary trends.
