Bamboo tea whisks, or 'Chasen' in Japanese, are the traditional tool used to whip up a cup of hot powdered matcha and are what will help you achieve that delicate froth and smooth texture. It still mesmerizes me how the prongs of this whisk are split from a single piece of bamboo, and yet each prong retains its strength.
