This Japanese-style side-handled teapot is just as exquisite as it is delicate. We love the elegant proportions and warm wood-fired finish. It's the perfect little vessel to accompany a heartwarming cup of tea.

Note: We recommend this style and shape for preparing green teas.

Hamish Jackson

Vases, crocks, chargers, and teapots—these pragmatic and familiar forms are transformed and renewed through the hands of British potter Hamish Jackson. In 2012, Hamish began potting at Winchcombe Pottery in the Cotswolds, where he learned to harvest local materials and then turn them into practical, domestic forms. Since then, he's traveled and exhibited widely, from Europe to Japan and the United States, where he resides. Now a full-time maker and educator, Hamish aims to cultivate a connection between his wares and the landscapes where they originate.
