From candle holders and spoons to one-of-a-kind prints and art objects, Kneip brings a distinct perspective to product design that is all at once new and familiar. Before starting Kneip in 2014, Jørgen Willumsen and Stian Ruud studied product design at Akershus University College. Having a shared passion for solving complex problems with simple solutions, establishing their own design studio in Oslo was a natural next step. Known best for redefining everyday objects in a contemporary and sculptural context, Kneip not only pushes the boundaries of functional design but guides it to a unique and beautiful outcome.
