Norwegian for 'waterfall,' the vannfall jug features grooved channels that imitate cascading water even when not in use. Like other objects from Nedre Foss, this jug has a substantial weight that does not feel too delicate to be passed around the table. Its larger proportions are comfortable to hold and even easier to pour from while still adding a visual charm that makes it look like the water formation it's named after.

Known for their beautifully-designed and enduring collection of homewares, Nedre Foss has an innate ability to surpass trends by creating objects that are familiar and unexpected. Founded by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll (of Oslo-based design studio Anderssen & Voll) in 2009, the goal was always to create objects where utility and sculpture were well balanced. Using timeless materials like brass, cast iron, wood, and glass, their handmade processes are combined with sustainable technologies, resulting in pieces that will remain relevant over time. Behind their intriguing Scandinavian designs, Nedre Foss closely collaborates with independent designers equally inspired by simplicity and sustainability.
